If you’ve visited the Cosmic Visionaires website before, things might look a little different now.
We recently rolled out a major update to cosmicvisionaires.com, focused on making it easier to explore our work, meet the people behind it, and follow what we’re actually building.
Most importantly, this update lays the groundwork for something we’ve wanted to do for a while: share more of the development process instead of disappearing between major announcements.
The website has received a visual and structural refresh with accessibility and navigation in mind.
Our social platforms are now available directly from the site header, so you no longer have to dig around the site to find where else to follow us.
We’ve also expanded our team section. Members of Cosmic Visionaires can now have their own individual profiles, giving artists, developers, designers, and other contributors a place to showcase who they are and what they do.

The biggest change is the blog you're reading right now.
Rather than treating the blog as a place for the occasional studio announcement, we've rebuilt it into something we can actually use throughout development.
Future posts will include development logs, behind-the-scenes looks at production, technical breakdowns, artwork and design progress, studio updates, and lessons we pick up along the way.
We've also connected the blog's RSS feed directly to our Discord. When a new article goes live, it'll automatically be shared in the #👥・social-feed channel for anyone who wants to follow development there instead.
It sounds like a small change, but it removes one more barrier between making something and actually sharing it.

Our current game has reached an important point in development.
Much of the major underlying gameplay functionality we've been building is now in place, while artwork has steadily begun making its way into the project. We're currently going back through parts of the game, making needed revisions, cleaning things up, and getting everything into a state we're comfortable putting in front of people.
We aren't ready to unpack all of that in this post.
That's what the devlogs are for.
Our first new development log is planned for this month October, and it'll be much more focused on the game itself: what we've been building, how some of its systems have evolved, and where development is heading next.
There will finally be more to show alongside the words, too.

Things are starting to take shape. We'll have a lot more to show soon.
While we get everything ready for what's coming next, you can join the Cosmic Visionaires Steam Group.
It's another place to follow the studio as we prepare for future releases, development updates, and announcements.

We don't want this website to be something that only changes when we have a big announcement.
We want it to become a running record of what Cosmic Visionaires is building—the good parts, the iterations, the things we change our minds about, and the work that happens long before a game reaches players.
So if you've been wondering what we've been up to, you won't have to wait much longer.
We'll see you in the first devlog this October.
